What We Believe

We believe in the Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe and teach that the Bible is God's Word. We believe that Christ died for our sins, he rose from the dead to give us victory over the grave. Salvation is ours by faith through the grace of the Father through his Son, Jesus Christ.

We believe that the body and blood of Christ are present in, with, and under the bread and wine in the Sacrament of Holy Communion. We believe that partaking of the body and blood of Christ in Holy Communion grants forgiveness of sins to the repentant, strengthens our faith, proclaims our unity in doctrine, and clings to the promises of Jesus Christ alone.

We believe that Jesus' death and resurrection has set us free to be the people of God. We believe in the resurrection, Christ's victory over death for us. We live in the hope of the resurrection now as the Triune God sends us out into the world to share this Good News of forgiveness, salvation, and resurrection – God's free gift to all who believe in Christ alone.

The Authority and Power of the Bible: We teach and believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error in all that it affirms, and the only infallible rule of faith and practice. We affirm the power of God's word to accomplish His purpose of salvation. The message of the Bible is addressed to all men and women and through it, the Holy Spirit still speaks today.

The Holy Trinity: We believe in one eternal Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that God the Father created heaven and earth. We believe that Jesus Christ was both the Son of God and the Son of Man and was crucified for our sins and resurrected on Easter. We believe in the Holy Spirit who dwells in all believers.

We Are Saved by Grace: We believe that we are all sinners. We believe that Christ died for our sins, rose from the dead on Easter, and that salvation is ours by the grace of God through faith. We believe that it is our mandate to share the love and forgiveness of God with all who wish to share in it and believe in him.

(MATT. 28:19; MARK 12:30-31; JOHN  3:16-19; ACTS 4:12; ROM. 3:19-25. 6:6; EPH. 1:11, 2:8-9; I TIM. 2:5-6;)

Holy Communion: We believe that the body and blood of Christ are present in, with, and under the bread and wine of communion. We believe that partaking of the body and blood of Christ in communion strengthens and preserves our faith and is an integral element of our faith.
