Quilt Group

We are supported by All Saints LWML, a member of the Washington-Alaska District Zone.

All are invited to participate.

We ship our quilts to LWR after they are blessed at our annual blessing event at the end of April.

Warm someone's heart and show the love of Jesus, with a quilt made with love!

Your donations helped us provide 97 quilts for 2024

About Us

Who we are:

We are a small group that meets twice monthly to prepare quilts for Lutheran World Relief. Lutheran World Relief distributes the quilts world wide based on need.  We are supported by All Saints Lutheran Church LWML and donations from All Saints Lutheran Church members.

When we meet:

The 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month in the Living Stone Center from 9:30AM to 12:00PM.
Check the church calendar to confirm we are meeting as the dates may change due to schedule conflicts in the Living Stone Center.

What we do:

Generally, the quilt tops are sewn together at home and then brought on meeting days to sandwich the top with the quilt batting and backing.  Once the quilt is pinned and tyed (sandwiched), the layers are sewn together at home.

How you can help:

  • Join the quilt group and come to our sessions to help cut fabric, sew quilt tops, sandwich quilt tops by putting batting and backing together with the top, tye the quilt, and sew the quilt together for completion.
  • Donate fabric, embroidery floss, gently used sheets.
Monetary donations are welcome to help to pay for shipping of the quilts, quilt batting, and backing.  We will hold a coffee fellowship after church services annually to provide an opportunity for supporting this ministry.
  • Prayers are always welcome
