National Youth Gathering (NYG) 2025 Prayers

Pray with us each day of the Gathering! 

Friday July 18th

For Safety and Guidance:

"Heavenly Father, we pray for the safety and guidance of all those traveling to and from the Youth Gathering. Watch over them, protect them from harm, and lead them safely to their destination. May your Holy Spirit guide their steps and decisions throughout the event."

Saturday July 19th

For Unity and Fellowship:

"Gracious God, we ask for a spirit of unity and fellowship among all the young people and adults at the Gathering. Help them to put aside differences and to build each other up in love and support. May they experience the joy of Christian community."

For the Speakers:

"We pray for all the speakers  at the Gathering. Grant them wisdom, clarity, and the ability to communicate your Word effectively. May their messages be filled with your love and grace."

Sunday July 20th

For the Adult Leaders:

Gracious Lord, thank you for giving our Adult Leaders the tenacity to mentor, care, and lead their youth in all they do. Continue to give them the wherewithal and strength needed to lead them and encourage them to run with perseverance g the race set before us. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen

For the Volunteers:

"We thank you, Lord, for the many volunteers who are giving their time and energy to make the Gathering a success. Bless their efforts and grant them strength and encouragement as they serve. May they be a blessing to others.

Monday July 21st 

For a Deeper Understanding:

"Lord, we pray that your Word will be proclaimed powerfully at the Gathering. Open the hearts and minds of the young people to hear your message and to understand its relevance and application to their lives. May they grow in faith and knowledge of you."

For those who are struggling:

"Lord, we lift up to you those young people who may be struggling with doubt, fear, or discouragement. May they feel your presence and experience your love and comfort during the Gathering. May they find hope and healing in you."

Tuesday July 22nd

For Lasting Impact:

"Heavenly Father, we pray that the experiences and lessons learned at the Gathering will have a lasting impact on the lives of the young people. May they return to their homes and communities with a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper commitment to following you."

Wednesday July 23rd

Closing Prayer for the Youth Gathering:

A Prayer of Thanksgiving: "We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for the blessings you have poured out upon the youth gathering. We ask for your continued protection and guidance as the young people return home. May they be a light for you in the world."
