D6 is the same curriculum we have been using for the Sunday school but now for adults. It connects the church to home and families to one another. D6 is based on the principles of Deuteronomy 6:5-9—love God, love His Word, and teach your children to do the same. The D6 curriculum is recommended as the first option for adult Bible study groups by the Board of Christian Education.
D6 EveryDay Curriculum aligns small group environments at church so the entire family (elementary-adult) is studying the same theme at the same time. The cool thing is, it doesn’t stop at the church worship experience. This one of a kind discipleship curriculum goes beyond the small group experience and helps parents and grandparents reconnect with kids and teens through the use of devotional study guides and other take-home resources that help equip the home. If you want to learn more about the D6 curriculum, please check out their website.
We want to provide flexibility for the Bible study groups and leaders on what they want to study. Each group can decide for themselves if they want to do the D6 study or use some other materials. For that purpose, here's a list of good resources recommended by the Board of Christian Education.
