Give your time and talent

At All Saints we have many opportunities for you to be part of  our  groups, activities, and leadership. 

If you are interested in giving your time and talent, please contact Pastor Dolby, or our Spiritual Gifts Coordinator Marjaana.

Worship Service Volunteers

Please consider volunteering for one of these roles! You can help every Sunday or be a part of a rotation team with other members. 

Acolytes - light candles before service, extinguish candles after service, assist with cup collection during Holy Communion; acolytes are typically youth from 4th grade through high school but others are certainly welcome at pastor and parents' discretion.

Altar Guild - Help with setup and cleanup of Holy Communion. 

AV team member – manage live webcasting of the service with a team. Please contact Jani Kuivalainen.

Counters - Open and count offerings following service with another volunteer.

Duty Elders - backfill any open role, ensure audio system is functional, sanctuary is prepared for service, assist Pastor with Holy Communion service.

Evangelists - Read the Old Testament and Epistle readings from the speaker lectern.

Greeters - welcome visitors and congregants to the church prior to service, manage visitor log, help with building entry.

Musicians - provide organ and piano accompaniment during services, also praise band on 4th Sunday. Contact church office. 

Ushers - handout bulletins, manage seating, and flow of congregation to communion, take attendance and common cup counts and tidy up pews before and after each service.

Boards and groups

Other volunteer opportunities 

• Yard work in Wednesday crew. The crew gets together each Wednesday morning to work on the yard – you can join occasionally or regularly. (Just show up or contact Tom Nesko.)
• Bible study facilitators and group hosts. Groups gather regularly either in homes or at the church. (Marjaana Kuivalainen)
• Musicians for choir, praise band, organists etc. Both short and long term commitments available. (Marie Porterfield, Kim Bench)
• Website administration. (David Allison)
• Altar care. (Pat Roley)

• Kitchen work. (Mary Miller)
• Local & global service; sewing group. (Linda Price)
